Patrick Bailey, Vice President of Healthcare Technology at Oxford, is a prime example of the proven Oxford process. Starting as a Technical Recruiter at Oxford in 2004, he continued to grow and progress through multiple roles, and is currently the Vice President of Healthcare Technology. His determination, creative contributions, and problem-solving abilities led him to become one of the founders of Oxford’s healthcare division. His drive to succeed, partnered with his desire to serve his team, make him a true leader.

Meet Mark: Mark is a standout consultant who has been working with Oxford for 12 years. His expertise is primarily in Microsoft development technologies such as .Net and SQL Server DBA, and he also has experience with JavaScript web development and mobile app development. In 2005, Mark connected with his original Oxford recruiter, Amy, when Oxford’s Cleveland office was staffed by only a few individuals. Although he wasn’t interested in consulting at the time, Amy continued to check in every six months to keep in contact. Eventually, an opportunity arose with an Oxford client Mark had previously worked for as an employee. The client was attempting to reach him and in discussion with Amy, his name came up. Amy got in contact with Mark, and he took a week's vacation from his full-time position to assist the client. From then on, he continued to develop his career in consulting.

Meet Lisa: Lisa has spent 20 years focused on what she calls the “human side of technical implementations” in regards to her role as an Organizational Change Management Training and Communication Manager on SAP Projects. She began her career in consulting when she took a temp job at a small consulting company and started reading various SAP books to educate herself. As time went on, Lisa began building relationships with consultants, calling them to speak about their availability and interest in various job placements. Through speaking with them, she learned quite a bit about the field, and when a company reached out to her to set up a training program, she leaped at the chance to try her hand at being a consultant. She went independent in 2004 and has been consulting ever since.

Meet Alison: Alison began working for Oxford about a year ago, when she was introduced to her Oxford recruiter Josh by a former colleague. She was originally working with another consulting firm, but once her placement ended, that firm would not actively look for future assignments on her behalf. Therefore, she decided to move on to a new opportunity with a new staffing company. When Josh reached out to Alison, she said he really set her at ease. “It was his assurances that they would help me with getting further education, which I knew I was going to need [that really cemented my choice to work with Oxford],” she said. Previous consulting firms had promised further education and didn’t deliver. Alison wasn’t ready to retire, and she knows that keeping herself on the cutting edge of technology is crucial. Josh jumped right in on the certification process for Epic^TM — and now Alison knows she can go to him for whatever she may need in the future.

It’s our 35^th anniversary, and we couldn’t be more excited. To celebrate this milestone, we wanted to take a moment to recognize how much we truly love what we do. So, we came up with a list of 35 reasons why we love working in the staffing and recruiting industry.

Meet Doug: Doug has been working with Oxford since July of 2017, when his Oxford recruiter Chris reached out to him through LinkedIn. One of the things that immediately stuck out to Doug was the confidence Chris had in his ability to match Doug with a variety of opportunities that fit his skills and career interests. When speaking about his recruiter, Doug says “Chris is very down to earth, and we always have really easy, natural conversations. He does a great job of keeping me posted on upcoming opportunities when my contract is ending. He is a great guy to work with.”

As part of the celebrations of their 25^th anniversary in Cork, Ireland, Oxford Global Resources announced plans to create 25 new jobs in 2019.

Denis Carroll is a level-headed, straightforward leader who brings his diverse knowledge and life experiences to his work at Oxford. After earning a Bachelor’s in History and German in college, he had the opportunity to travel throughout Asia and teach English in Korea for three years. During his time there, Denis taught everyone from kindergarteners, to doctors and pilots. Such incredible experiences have led him to understand the values of patience, calm, and not taking anything too seriously.

Amy Karpowicz, Senior Vice President of Local Operations, is a powerhouse who understands the value of hard work. During her 20-year tenure at Oxford, she has qualified for President’s Club 16 times and won multiple top awards including Recruiter of the Year, Branch Manager of the Year, Regional Manager of the Year, and finally VP of the Year. Amy has also developed multiple top producers within Oxford, which she says is one of her best accomplishments.
